Now, obviously I could just download iPhoto from the Mac App Store, but the idea of paying $14.99 for something that came with my computer just seems plain wrong. So I tried out a few other apps, and while I admit they are not as complete as iPhoto, they still do the trick. I have MAC 10.9.5 and iphoto 8.1.2 Can't get my photos off my phone to the desktop. Never had problems before. Photos are in the cloud. I was able to brute force them to download to the desktop but th read more. The application is an in-built application that pretty much comes standard with all the Mac Operating systems. The only main thing is that the minimum operating system to support the new version of the iPhoto application was that you must be using Mac OS X 10.4 and above. Download the iPhoto 9 for Mac OS.
